Bell Ringer: Why did the future seem so bleak to confederate soldiers returning home after the war? The future seemed so bleak because of the aftermat the war had left upon the South, so many houses had been burned down and people died during this war. It was sad to them because it would take them the longest time to recover over this devastation.

Exit Ticket : I learned that Wheeler was in the Civil war but went back to the Union and then I learned that John Wilkes Booth was an actor at theater because I didn't know that. Sherman burned all of Atlanta and he was stubborn.
